Replicable solutions for a cross-sector compliant energy ecosystem

The energy sector is one of which the regulations evolved rapidly. Liberalisation of the markets has set for more competition that needs to provide continuous, uninterrupted, and evermore green energy.

The energy sector is a cornerstone of economic and social development. Its vital nature makes it indispensable to innovate in order to avoid possible perturbations and instability. The supply of energy is thus at the centre of GLOCALFLEX’s preoccupations. The project aims to provide a reliable and uninterrupted energy supply while maintaining an ecological perception that is aligned with European priorities for a decarbonized economy.

GLOCALFLEX sets the goal of upgrading the energy ecosystem through a balance between a low-barrier energy flexibility marketplace (EFM), the ecological preoccupations of Europe, and the citizen-centred approach that aims to bring benefits to individual consumers of smart energy across the EU.

In this sense, the project will lead work in six pilot sites that would explore flexibility potential, solutions, and services that would benefit industries as well as consumers.

Applying our expertise to GLOCALFLEX, Privanova will be the partner responsible for ethics, privacy and data protection issues in the consortium. Privanova will therefore be the partner responsible for the elaboration of the ethics report as well as the creation and maintenance of a data management plan.

As the GLOCALFLEX consortium aims to liaise with projects that work in the energy domain Privanova will be a key partner in ensuring a smooth clustering process between ongoing projects in the field. This will amplify our project results and allow for indispensable synergies to be created.

Putting its network to use, Privanova will also act as a communication point with standardisation bodies and will elaborate the standardisation report by the end of the project.
