Have Your Say on the Future of AI: ELOQUENCE Launches Europe-Wide Survey

Artificial intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept; it’s embedded in the technologies we use, the services we rely on, and the decisions that shape our societies. Yet as AI systems grow more capable, a crucial question emerges: How do Europeans really feel about them?

To find out, the EU-funded ELOQUENCE project has launched a large-scale, multilingual survey, now open to participants across Europe. Privanova is proud to support this initiative and to help ensure that voices from every corner of society are heard.

Developed by our project partners at GrantXpert Consulting and hosted on the official EUSurvey platform, the questionnaire focuses on public perceptions, acceptance, and the broader ethical expectations surrounding emerging AI applications, particularly those being explored within the ELOQUENCE project. The survey is intentionally short (just 8–10 minutes) and already available in ten European languages, with more to be added.

This effort is part of Work Package 6 (WP6), which examines societal trust in AI by bringing together expert analysis and public participation. While expert panels help assess new technologies from an ethical and regulatory standpoint, the survey brings an essential dimension to the project: the perspective of everyday citizens, professionals, and stakeholders who will ultimately be affected by AI systems.

Why Your Participation Counts

AI is reshaping healthcare, justice systems, public administration, education, and countless other domains. As Europe strives to become a global leader in trustworthy, human-centric AI, understanding the concerns and expectations of its people is vital.

The more diverse and widespread the participation, the stronger the findings will be.

Importantly, ELOQUENCE aims to gather input from six specific target groups, as well as a broader comparator group across Europe. That’s why wide dissemination is essential, and why we are asking our networks to help spread the word.
